Good points Robert. We are working on some of those aspects:

1) Feedly has now support for Chrome and Safari

2) Feedly is working on a new concept called mix which allows power users/bloggers to bundle, curate and publish feeds. see mikiane.com as the concept car for this effort

3) You are right about the iphone: although we have several prototypes, some native, some web but none of them is satisfactory/innovative enough. We will see us focus more on iphone+mobile in 2010.

Good point, Robert. Its the one major drawback to feedly – the lack of an iPhone application.

Feedly Chrome is in testing and works very, very well (the feedly screenshots are from feedly Chrome). So I think it will be released very very soon.

The neat thing about lists is you can make your own. If you are seeing duplication in my list of 500 news sources, maybe all you need to watch are five or 10. To tell you the truth, if you want to see everything that moves in the tech industry you should just watch http://techmeme.com — it is better than ANY aggregator at finding the major news of the day.

Why not Feedly? Feedly is VERY cool, but did you realize I was writing all those items to you from bed on my iPhone last night? Feedly doesn’t work there. Twitter wins.

Feedly also doesn’t work from my favorite browsers, Chrome and Safari. Twitter wins.

Feedly also doesn’t let me mix and bundle feeds together the way I want. Twitter wins.

But that said, I did like Feedly when I was trying to keep up with the mess that is my Google Reader (which I don’t use anymore).
